Shipping policy

Esparza Produce does not ship orders. We deliver them ourselves.

Every order is hand-delivered by a member of our own team. We do not use USPS, UPS, FedEx, or any third-party parcel carrier, and we do not offer nationwide or out-of-area shipping.

Why we deliver instead of ship

Fresh produce is a perishable food product, not a shelf-stable package. Once a box enters a parcel network, we lose control over the things that keep food safe and worth eating — temperature, handling, transit time, and how long a box sits on a loading dock or a doorstep.

Keeping delivery in-house means produce goes from our cooler to your kitchen handled only by people we train and trust. It is the only way we can stand behind the quality and safety of what shows up at your door.

Where we deliver

We deliver to the Westside of El Paso, Tx. If your business is outside this area, reach out anyway. We add routes as demand grows and may be able to accommodate you.

Delivery schedule

  • Delivery days: Monday – Saturday
  • Delivery windows: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Order cutoff: Orders must be placed the 1-2 days before (businesses) or 2-4 hrs the same day (family/home delivery) to be included on the next delivery run.

Orders placed after cutoff will be scheduled for the following delivery day. Holiday schedules are announced in advance.

Minimums and delivery fees

  • Minimum order: None
  • Delivery fee: $8-$15 / Free on orders over $70

Receiving your order

Someone must be present to receive the delivery. Because we are handling food, we do not leave produce unattended at a door, dock, or gate under any circumstances.

Please inspect your order at the time of delivery. Our driver will wait while you check the count and condition of what you received. Signing for the delivery confirms the order arrived complete and in acceptable condition.

Quality issues, shortages, and refusals

You may refuse any item at the time of delivery that does not meet your standards — no explanation needed, and you will not be charged for it.

If you discover an issue after our driver has left, contact us within 2 hours of delivery. We will credit your account or replace the item on your next delivery. Because of the perishable nature of produce, we cannot address quality claims made after this window.

Missed or failed deliveries

If no one is available to receive the order at the scheduled time, our driver will attempt to reach you at the phone number on file. If we cannot complete the delivery, the order will be returned to our facility and rescheduled for the next available delivery day.

Food safety

All produce is stored, handled, and transported in accordance with applicable Texas food safety requirements. Our vehicles and handling practices are maintained specifically for food transport.
